I first started playing guitar back in the middle ages(well1964)playing Rolling Stones ,Beatles etc.Over the years I played everything from Soul to Elvis in pubs theatres discos and the dreaded working mens clubs ,which I did for about 20 years(seems longer! )and NO I dont miss them!! I like a varied type of music from Wishbone Ash (obviously ) to Steely Dan, Eagles, Cream, Thin Lizzie Counting Crows, to Beach Boys, Beatles,Ben Folds, Squeeze and Shadows!.Favourite guitarists include Andy Powell and Ben and Muddy from Wishbone, to Gary Moore, Freddy King, BB King, Clapton,Francis Dunnery,Leslie West,Larry Carlton,Mark Knopfler and Brian May.

Non-musical inluences:- My wife Helen without whom I wouldn't have had time to start this band as she suggested I take early retirement,our 2 cats also ageed to this.The only work I do is at the local museum in Otley where my wife says I am one of the exhibits!!

It has a Lenny Kravitz V Vibrola Tremelo and bridge(I got from e-bay) with matching gold fittings.
A Gibson Les Paul Pro De-Luxe 1980 Black/cream with P90 pickups
A sunburst Fender Stratocaster 1973 all original!! (It's a bit battered but has played all the working mens Clubs in Yorkshire!) Latest addition a 1988 Gibson ES 335 Antique sunburst lovely!!!
Amp is Fender Hot Rod De Ville 4x10
Fx board has Nady R/T ,Equaliser, Tuner,Boss Echo,Boss chorus,Boss SD1 ,Boss sustainer and Ibanez Tube screamer (all fully modified by http://www.monteallums.com)
P.A. We use 2 xBehringer EP2500 power amps+electronic crossover,2xFBQ3102 graphic equalisers
2x Fane sub bins 2x peavey ultra 15 top cabs an Allen and Heath mixer and 2x wharfedale
250watt monitors with feedback destroyer.For larger rooms or outdoor we add 2 more sub bins and 2 Ramsa top cabs so we have output of either 3k or 4k depending on speaker configuration.Mikes are Shure, EV,and Sennheiser.
